EMI ESTIMATOR – CONNECT / RECONNECT QUICKBOOKS
This page explains the QuickBooks Online connection process for authorized EMI Printworks users.
CONNECTING QUICKBOOKS
To connect or reconnect QuickBooks Online:
1. Open EMI Estimator on the authorized EMI workstation.
2. Open the QBO Pricing History page.
3. In the QuickBooks Connection section, use the authorized Intuit OAuth process to approve access for EMI PRINTWORKS, INC.
4. Return to EMI Estimator and complete the connection on that authorized workstation.
SECURITY
QuickBooks authorization is handled through Intuit OAuth.
EMI Estimator does not require an Intuit password to be entered into the Estimator.
Private connection credentials, including the Client Secret and Refresh Token, should remain on the authorized EMI workstation and should not be sent through email, chat, or other messaging services.
CURRENT QUICKBOOKS USE
The current QBO Pricing History connection is read-only by behavior. It retrieves invoice history and related accounting information used for pricing-history reference and estimating.
The QBO Pricing History sync does not create, edit, send, or delete QuickBooks transactions.
